The primary objective of Cross Town Pet Care, LLC is to create a positive and less stressful experience for you and your furry family members. We hope to have all animals impeccably cared for, even between grooming sessions. Cross Town Pet Care offers a state-of-the-art mobile dog grooming service as opposed to a stationary shop for two main reasons—it is kinder and less stressful on the animals and their parents. The spacious, top notch, widely viewed as the best currently available in the Pet Grooming Industry, twenty-four foot long RV styled “shop on wheels” made by Wag N’ tails offers everything a stationary grooming shop can, plus—and let’s not forget—it’s driven right to your door! The fully loaded, luxurious Wag’N Tails Pet Stylist Elite is a clean, self-contained unit that offers such items as hot water, air conditioning, heating, two different types of dryers, special shampooing systems, two grooming tables, ramp and a second specially made ramp and adjusted tub added after the fact to comfortably and safely accommodate the larger dogs such as Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Great Pyrenees and more.

We want your pets to stay as healthy as possible, so we also clean and disinfect tools between grooms to help minimize the potential spreading of any diseases and/or bacteria/fungus. There will be no transporting your friend to the grooming shop or kennel. Instead of being locked up in a crate for the day, they come right back inside to the comfort and familiar surroundings of your home, condo or office.

We take pride in taking our time on the grooms and having a quality, detailed groom versus getting the dogs in and out as quickly as possible. Our first priority in a groom is the animal’s health and comfort. Then, it is the haircut. We understand that not all people care to have their pup in “breed standard cuts” and will not insist on keeping to those standards if that is not what you want. We will do our best to work with you to achieve what it is you want. Our greatest achievement is when we can take a dog who is scared of the process or parts of the grooming process and getting them to at a minimum to accept the grooming process and/or parts and to ideally learn to love it as much as some of our furry customers do! While we wish we could please everyone (4 legged and 2 legged); we regretfully realize we can not. Where as we understand why we pluck our eyebrows for example and tolerate the process, an animal does not understand why we pluck their ears. We know it’s for their health, they only know it can be irritating.

For those 2 legged customers wishes, especially in matted cases, we know we can not make your wishes of a long coat to come true if we look at the animals health and comfort as the first priority, not what the owner wants at the cost of the animal’s comfort. On that note, Cross Town Pet Care encourages our pet parents to regularly maintain their furry children, and we are happy to share and show you grooming tips as we only want the best for your four legged family members. To take the guessing out of what to buy to maintain your pets at home, we have created an online store to help our customers as well as anyone in any area to purchase and utilize our favorite grooming products and tools.

Choosing to use all-natural and environmentally friendly products when possible was an easy choice. Currently all the products that are used on your best friends are what we see as the best products available and most are available for purchase at our online store or we can special order them for you. Even the cleaning products for the interior of the van that are used are all-natural, with occasional exceptions. Cross Town Pet Care, LLC believes that if you have a choice of a natural, earth friendly alternative that when possible that is the route to go, especially when it’s better for the environment, our pets, other people, and you.

Cross Town Pet Care, LLC, is a solely owned and operated by Trisha Francisco. Plans for the future include adding additional mobile grooming units in conjunction with grooming shops, pet boutiques, boarding facilities and perhaps even an onsite veterinarian! More immediate and simple plans include continuously adding Cross Town Pet Care’s favorite products to the online store. We continuously attend grooming conferences and educational grooming events to ensure the best treatment for your pup.
